TEST NOTES

Below are a few examples of what are called “Test Notes”. As their name implies, these curiosities were made by printing companies in testing the printing methods, and for use in ATM and other cash handling machines. Generally, the more artistic the images are, they can be assumed that they were made to test the printing abilities, methods, etc. Those which are less artful, are for use in testing the machines abilities.

Polymerbit 10 Pounds Note (Unfunded) issued on January 05, 2023 and valid until January 04, 2024. This note was issued for the Florida FUN (Florida United Numismatists) Convention in Orlando, Florida and is serial number. A000023 in Uncirculated condition. This was printed and issued by Polymerbit Ltd. This is an Unfunded / non loaded polymer bitcoin banknote denominated at 10 pounds. This is likely a specimen type banknote issued for the convention and not intended for actual use, or was issued but left unfunded. The main feature of this banknote is the Space Shuttle Discovery, which is a nod to NASA’s Space program in Florida. This banknote also has clear polymer window as a security feature.
